Tabulance

Accounting firms spend hours asking clients for the same documents. Tabulance gives every client a checklist for each return, follows up on what’s missing and collects files through a private upload page.

Case study

The challenge

Accounting firms chase clients by email for bank statements, payroll records and receipts, then track what has arrived in spreadsheets.

What we built

A checklist for every client and period, reminders that list only what is still missing, and upload pages that file each document against the right item.

Where it is today

Live at tabulance.com, with each country’s return deadlines built in.

Highlights

Checklists per client

Each client’s bank accounts, payroll and other details decide which documents are needed for each period.

Reminders that fit

Each message lists only what is outstanding. Review it before sending, or let reminders go out automatically.

Private upload pages

Clients upload from a phone or computer with their own link and an email code. They don’t need an account.

Deadlines worked out

Return and payment dates are calculated for every client, adjusted for weekends and public holidays.

A site for each firm

Every firm gets its own address, branding and team, with its data kept separate from other firms.

Files kept in-region

Documents are stored in the firm’s chosen data region and backed up every night.
